Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has recruited a new batch of citizens who have completed the evaluation procedures.
A new batch of male and female citizens from the general education diploma holders joined to work at the Royal Oman Police, after completing the evaluation procedures in coordination with the Ministry of Labour.
The new recruits will receive training at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in specialised institutes for police recruits and women police within a model training environment that keeps pace with developments in the security and service work system of the Royal Oman Police through the preparation of qualified and trained graduates according to integrated academic, legal, field and sports programmes.
The new recruits expressed their happiness at passing the evaluation stages and their acceptance to work in the Royal Oman Police.
Citizen Mohammed bin Said Al Kalbani said:" Today we are preparing to start a new phase in our lives, and the training period at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences will contribute to preparing us to perform various police work."
Citizen Bashar bin Ahmed Al Mayasi added: "We will do our best to benefit from the training programme at the Police Institute to acquire knowledge and acquire military and sports abilities and skills."
Citizen Zuhour bint Younis Al Naabi said: "Working in the Royal Oman Police is a matter of pride and honour, which gives us a great responsibility to exert seriousness, diligence and sincerity in the performance of national duty."
Amina bint Hashil Al Hadi said:" I congratulate my colleagues in this batch on the occasion of admission to the Royal Oman Police, wishing them success."
