WHO announces Oman's Masirah as first healthy island in MENA

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that Masirah island‬⁩ has received a certificate of international recognition as the first healthy island in the Middle East Region.

WHO will hand over the certificate to the Ministry of Health in an official ceremony that will be held next Sunday, June 4, 2023, on Masirah Island.
