Watch: Don't risk your life in flooded wadis

Despite repeated warnings from official agencies not to tempt fate around flooding wadis and roads, some people are still risking their lives trying to outrun the floods.
Online videos show people running ahead of floodwater in wadis and drivers narrowly escaping flooded roads. Royal Oman Police, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance and various municipalities have all asked people living in Oman to be careful and to stay away from flooded areas.
Yet videos circulating on social media still show young men trying to outrun floodwaters in wadis, despite the warnings.
