3 prisoners released from Nizwa as a part of the Fak Kurbah initiative

Muscat: The Fak Kurba initiative has successfully released 925 cases of deserving prisoners from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. Among these cases, 3 were released on Monday.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Zadjali, supervisor of the initiative and president of the Omani Lawyers Association, said: “To date, 3 people have been released from the Wilayate of Nizwa in Al Dakhiliya Governorate one of whom was imprisoned for three months.”

He also confirmed that a woman whose son was released through the Fak Kurab initiative previously has later donated her gold to initiate the release of other cases.

This was stated during the press conference for the conclusion of the tenth edition of the initiative which was held today at Al Wahat Club in Azaiba, in the presence and participation of a number of local media and representatives of government and private institutions.
