Fak Kurba initiative results in release of over 800 prisoners during Ramadan

Muscat: The Fak Kurba initiative managed to release 803 prisoners by the end of the fourth week of Ramadan.

According to Fak Kurba, in the last week of Ramadan, a total of 135 prisoners have been released. This includes 80 people in Muscat Governorate, followed by 29 in Dhofar, 19 in Al Dakhiliyah, 4 in South Al Batinah, 2 in North Al Batinah and 1 in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

In addition, 668 prisoners have been released in the past three months of Ramadan.
