Crescent of Dhul Qadah 1444 sighted in Oman

Muscat: The crescent of the month Dhul Qadah 1444 AH was sighted on Saturday, May 20,2023, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs(MERA), said.

"The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announces that the Crescent of the Month Dhul Qadah 1444 AH was sighted after sunset this evening , Saturday , 29th Shawwal 1444 corresponding to May 20,2023 . Therefore , tomorrow Sunday, May 21,2023 will mark the beginning of Dhul Qadah 1444 AH, " the Ministry said in a statement.
