Over 12 arrested for theft, vandalism across Oman

Muscat: The South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command has arrested four citizens on charges of stealing money. 11 expats have also been arrested in Muscat Governorate for theft and vandalism, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

ROP said they stole from a private school in Sur, as well as electrical cables from several stores of various commercial companies in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

In another incident, the Royal Oman Police in Muscat Governorate has arrested 11 Asian nationals on charges of vandalism and theft, after they cut and stole electrical cables and wires in the Al Mabela area.

Legal procedures are being completed against all the above mentioned accused.
