Muscat: An investigation was launched into the accident that occurred on Sunday which led to the death of three workers in South Al Batinah Governorate.
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology said that it has immediately launched an investigation into the accident that occurred on Wadi Mistel Road, which led to the death of three workers while the company was carrying out road repair work.
The Ministry confirmed that this investigation comes to determine the true cause of the accident and the extent of the contractor's commitment to safety procedures at the site.
It is worth noting that the rescue teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of South Al Batinah responded to a sand collapse that hit three workers while a company was carrying out maintenance work on the road leading to Wakan village in the Wilayat of Nakhal, where they were pulled out dead.
