Body of second missing person found in South Al Sharqiyah

Muscat: The body of the second and last person reported missing in Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, has been found following a search involving emergency service personnel, said the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority(CDAA) confirmed that a male citizen was found dead in Wadi Al-Batha, in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The CDAA said in a statement: "In cooperation with the Police Command of the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, the bodies of two citizens, one man and one woman were found in the stream of Wadi Al-Batha in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali."

It is worth noting that the CDAA received a report on Wednesday evening about the drifting of three vehicles, including nine people, in the stream of Wadi Al-Batha in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.
