The Sultanate of Oman witnesses a number of cruise ships annually

Muscat: Port of Salalah has received a cruise ship carrying 375 passengers, including 150 tourists on Wednesday. The cruise ship anchored at Salalah port as a part of its tourism program covering a number of ports in different parts of the world.

The cruise ship coming from South Al Sharqiyah Governorate is next headed to the Republic of Djibouti. The programme includes tours of the most important archaeological, tourist and historical monuments in the Governorate of Dhofar, in addition to visiting the beaches and traditional markets in Salalah.

It is worth noting that the Sultanate of Oman witnesses a number of cruise ships annually. Due to its distinguished marine location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman
