Jews prohibited from entering Jerusalem's Temple Mount until Ramadan end

Muscat: The Israeli Prime Minister has ordered the police to prevent Jews from entering the Temple Mount, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 12, 2023, till the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

This came about in order to ease tensions that have flared up around the holy site in recent days. On Sunday, April 9, Hundreds of Jewish worshipers descended on the Temple Mount to celebrate Easter, despite clashes for several days between Palestinian demonstrators - who barricaded themselves inside Al-Aqsa Mosque - and the Palestinian policemen.
