Muscat: Fees for certain civil defense and ambulance services has been reduced, as per an announcement by the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).
Head of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, Brigadier General Salem bin Yahya Al Hinai issued Resolution No. 34/2023 specifying the fees for licenses and certificates issued by the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority.
The decision has brought about the merger of different licensing fees for the means of transporting hazardous materials. The validity of the license has also been extended to one year from the existing 6 months.
The fees for conformity certificates and installations of equipment and materials for civil protection have also been reduced by about OMR 20 in some cases. The validity period of the certificate can now be extendable for two to three years.
