Recipe of the Week: Mangopua

Ingredients
1 cup mango pulp
1/2 cup all purpose flour
3 tbsp semolina
1 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp slivered almonds
1 cup cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk
Ghee
Preparation
Mix all purpose flour and mango pulp.
Soak semolina in milk for 1 hour and add to the mango-all purpose flour mix.
Add more milk if the batter is too thick.
Add almonds and cardamom powder to the batter.
Spoon the batter one by one into hot ghee with the help of a ladle and deep fry till golden brown .
Remove on kitchen towel for excess ghee to drain .
Beat cream and sugar till light and pour over the puas before serving .
