Onsor Technologies launches computers equipped with 3D technology

Muscat: Onsor Technologies Company, a subsidiary of ITHCA Group, launched computers equipped with 3D technology. It also signed an agreement with American company zSpace to export those computers to the United States of America.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Mu’adh Ahmed Al Hinai, CEO of Onsor Technologies Company and Paul Kellenberger, CEO of zSpace.

This innovative partnership aims to develop and enhance modern technology in various fields, namely education, training, entertainment and industry. The 3D technology in those Onsor computers gives users a unique experience without the need of using 3D glasses.

Al Hinai pointed out that this partnership allows zSpace to develop 3D content, including the development of a realistic training experience for teaching and training faculties at schools, factories and companies in various fields.

He affirmed that this new technology will be first introduced in the American market and will be provided soon to users, coinciding with the start of production. Afterwards, the technology will be available in Oman and the region’s countries. Discussions had already started to provide the devices in several GCC countries and other countries of the world, Al Hinai added.

The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sayyid Kamil Fahd Al Said, Secretary General at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers and Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA).
