His Majesty gave an audience to the Director General of the World Trade Organisation

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The audience was attended by Dr. Hamad Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Ambassador Eloy Lauro, Senior Adviser to the WTO Director General. The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources on Tuesday organised a meeting with the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The meeting was held to exchange views on issues related to the WTO tasks and efforts in support of international trade liberalisation and economic growth.
