Oman named 5th safest country in the world

The Sultanate of Oman has been ranked among the countries with the lowest crime rate, according to the Global Crime Index for the year 2023, which was recently issued by the global database “Numbeo”. The Sultanate of Oman ranked fifth in the world in terms of its low crime rate, with 19.7%. It was ranked with Qatar which is the topper of the lowest crime rate among world countries with 14% , followed by United Arab Emirates with 15.1%, Taiwan (China) with 16.2% and the Isle of Man, which is located between the United Kingdom and Ireland, with 18%. The crime rate in the Sultanate of Oman was only 19.7 percent, which reflects its high safety rate.
