Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), announced a decision to halt the passage of trucks in Muscat Governorate on Wednesday to prevent traffic jams.
The passage of trucks will be halted on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 between 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm in order to avoid traffic jams on the main roads of the Muscat Governorate. Areas affected include: Dakhiliyah Road from Muscat to the Bidbid Bridge, and the Al Batinah Public Road from Muscat to the Wilayat of Shinas.
The Royal Oman Police calls on truck drivers to abide by the decision to serve public interest.
