Muscat: All the Gulf Arabian Cup matches will be streamed at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center (OCEC), the matches are scheduled to take place from Friday, January 6, 2023.

Oman News Agency (ONA) reported that Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) announced the establishment of the Football Fans Square in conjunction with the 25th edition of the Gulf Cup at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. The Iraqi city of Basra will host the Gulf Cup tournament which will be held from January 6 until January 19, 2023. 

The square will be a destination for football fans and their families, and it will provide accompanying activities and events. It will broadcast all the championship matches live on giant screens in a total area that can accommodate up to 1,300 fans.

The square will be an ideal place for all football fans to follow the matches and support their national teams.

Iraq will host the tournament for the second time in its history after the first in 1979, when Baghdad, hosted the fifth edition, in which the Iraqi team won its first of three titles.

Oman national Football team will begin its matches against its Iraqi counterpart in the opening match of the tournament, which is scheduled to be held next Friday at 7:45 PM MCT at Basra International Stadium.
