Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is expected to be affected by two air depressions in the upcoming week, an official at Oman Meteorology said.
The Directorate General of Meteorology stated in exclusive statements that the weather of the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by an air depression early next week.
The official explained that the direct effects of the air depression will be on the northern governorates of the Sultanate of Oman and the coastal areas. According to the current indicators, The effect is expected to start from next Saturday evening and will continue until Monday, stressing that all indicators are subject to change.
The official source stated that the Sultanate of Oman is also expected to be affected by a rapid and limited air depression during the next Thursday and Friday.
" There is continuous follow-up of the expected weather condition by the Directorate General of Meteorology," the official added
Oman Meteorology stated that the weather forecast during the coming days reveals the presence of indications of isolated rain over the Governorates of Al Wusta, Dhofar and South Al Sharqiyah. Low clouds or fog may form at night and early morning on parts of the Governorates of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta.
