Woman arrested for attempting to kill her relative

Muscat: A female citizen was arrested in the wilayat of Shinas after she assaulted one of her relatives with a knife and harmed herself due to family disputes.

The Royal Oman Police said that it arrested a woman who assaulted one of her relatives, which resulted in multiple injuries, after which he was transferred to the hospital in a stable condition, and legal procedures are being completed against her.

This month, the Sultanate witnessed two cases of assault with weapons, which led to the death of two women, the first in Muscat and the second incident in Al Dhahirah Governorate.
