Commerce Ministry prohibits use of Royal Emblem on various commercial products in Oman

Muscat: Private institutions, commercial companies and social media accounts are not allowed to use the Royal Emblem on various commercial products without obtaining the licence from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIp).

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion said: "Private institutions, commercial companies and social media accounts are strictly prohibited from using the Royal Emblem. A licence can be obtained from the Ministry to use the emblem, flag of the country and Map of Sultanate of Oman on different commercial products. The Ministry will take the necessary legal measures against violators."

The Ministry issued this warning in conjunction with the approaching 52nd Glorious National Day.
