Urgent appeal made for O -ve blood donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal to people with O -ve blood type to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

"The level of the stock of type O -ve in the central blood bank in Baushar has become very low, and in view of the urgent need for this type, we appeal to the owners of this type to donate blood quickly today," DBBS said in a statement.
