General Federation of Oman Workers organises blood donation campaign

Muscat: A blood donation campaign has been organised by the General Federation of Oman Workers (GFOW) at Muscat Grand Mall on Tuesday.

"The General Federation of Oman Workers organised a blood donation campaign at Muscat Grand Mall, in cooperation with the Department of Blood Banks Services and the Oman Blood Donors Team, and in the presence of a number of representatives of union structures and workers in the private sector, targeting 150 donors," General Federation said in a statement.

 The campaign aims to provide adequate quantities for the benefit of blood banks to save the lives of citizens and residents, and in an effort by the General Federation to establish a culture of commitment to donate blood. The federation involved some social activists to contribute to the campaign's introduction.
