New road link to come up in Oman

Muscat: The Shinas road link will be designed and constructed to to link the Al Batinah highway with the Al Batinah Expressway, said the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

“The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology issued an ‘Implementation Order’ for the design and construction of the Shinas road link to a company specialised in the field,” the ministry said in a statement.

The tender works include the design and construction of a dual road link to link the Al Batinah highway with the Al Batinah Expressway with a length of about 0.8 km, starting 1.8 km from Shinas roundabout towards Al Batinah Expressway.
