Pakistan Festival organised to mark 75th Independence Day

Muscat: Under the patronage of Pakistan Embassy, Pakistan Festival was organised to celebrate 75th Independence Day of Pakistan.

With the collective efforts of famous poet Qamar Riaz and his team, famous and highly recognised personalities of Pakistan, consisting of poets, journalists, authors, youtubers and musicians.

Those who attended the event, among others, included Ata ul Haq Qasmi, Abbas Tabish, Ustad Raees Khan, Yasir Pirzada, Dr. Sughra Sadaf, Dr. Pervaiz Chaudhry, Ehsan Shahid Chaudhry, Farrukh Shahbaz Warraich, Makhdoom Shahab Ud Din, Gul-e- Nokhaiz Akhtar, Uzair Ahmad, Nasir Katra, Sheikh Tahir Waseem, Rafaqat Junaid Mirza, Saqib Tabassum Saqib, Kashif Mustafa and Ajmal Shahdeen, all gathered under one roof to make the Independence Day event memorable.

Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), Ridha bin Juma Al Saleh, also graced the occasion with his presence.

While expressing his thoughts on stage, Honourable Ambassador Muhammad Imran Ali Chaudhry called our independence a watershed moment in the history.

He also briefly touched upon the milestones achieved by Pakistan after its independence.

It was a delightful sight to experience the wittiness of Chief Guest, Ata ul Haq Qasmi who captivated the audience with his subtle humourous anecdotes.

The event ended with the mesmerising tunes of renowned Violinist Ustaad Raees Khan.

Souvenirs were presented to the guests and organisers of the event as a token of gratitude.

The senior veteran of Pakistani community residing in Al Batinah North Governorate, Chaudhary Muhammad Aslam was the guest of honour at the function and Muhmmad Riaz , Malik Amir Mazhar were special guest to this event.
