Thunderstorms expected in these parts of Oman

Muscat: Thunderstorms associated with active wind and hail are predicted over parts of the Sultanate of Oman on Sunday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "There are chances of the formation of convective clouds and thunderstorms accompanied by active wind and hail on the Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining areas and the desert of Dhofar, which may extend to the Al Dakhiliyah deserts, the Al Dhahirah deserts and parts of the Al Wusta deserts during the afternoon and evening. "
