Thunderstorms and dust storms predicted in these parts of Oman

Muscat: Thunderstorms are expected in Al Hajar Mountains and parts of Dhofar Governorate today.

The General Directorate of Meteorology said: “There are chances of the formation of clouds and scattered thunderstorms on the Al Hajar Mountains and neighboring areas. There are chances of rains and sometimes thunderstorms over the Dhofar desert with the activity of autumn clouds on the mountains and coasts of Dhofar accompanied with drizzle.”

The Directorate warned of the chances of dust storms in the desert and open areas in Al Wusta and Dhofar.
