New batch of citizens joins Royal Oman Police

Muscat: A new batch of citizens holding a post-general diploma qualification and a general education diploma has joined the Royal Oman Police.

This is in continuation of the efforts made to employ citizens in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and to provide the various police formations with qualified manpower to keep pace with the expansion and development they are witnessing.

The new entrants are receiving training at the New Police Institute at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences to perform various tasks and duties of the ROP, through an integrated training programme that includes military, academic and legal training.
