Several rescued amid heavy rains across Oman

Muscat:  The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has rescued four people including children after they were stranded in a house due to the high level of rainwater.

CDAA said in a statement: "Rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate responded to a report about four people, including children trapped in a house in a village in Jabal Shams, due to the high level of rainwater. The teams were able to rescue them and hand them over to their families, they are all in good health."
