Muscat: The pre-arrival registration system and the health insurance requirement for travellers to Thailand will be cancelled from Friday, July 1, 2022, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Bangkok said.

"The Thai authorities have cancelled the pre-arrival registration system and the health insurance requirement from July 1, 2022. It confirmed the requirement to present vaccination certificates upon arrival and those who do not have a vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 certificate may undergo ATK test at airports," the embassy said in a statement.

It indicated the cancellation of temperature measurement at airports and outlets, and before entering the facilities. Wearing the mask is optional in open places, with the possibility of maintaining social distance, and a commitment to wearing it in closed and crowded places, as well as for those who have disease symptoms.
