College of Engineering Hosted BEST PROJECT Competition- 2022

Department of Electrical & Communication Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of College of Engineering, National University Jointly organized BEST PROJECT COMPETITION – on 19 May 2022 for students of various programmes in the CRI Building Lobby,at Caledonian Campus -Al Hail Campus.   This college level competition was held to choose the best final year technical projects in each of the  UG programmes of the engineering departments during the spring semester 2022. The main aim of the competition was to encourage students of the college of engineering to take up innovative, challenging projects and to instil a sense of competition. This event was a platform for the students to showcase their technical skills in an open forum, and to prove their competencies and presentation abilities. This also paves a way for the students to build confidence in their practical work and motivate them to become an entrepreneur. The competition witnessed 71 student participants across all three engineering departments exhibiting their graduation projects. Faculty members and mentors of the professional student chapter blessed the event which was also well supported by the college administration.  
 
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al Bulushi, Dean of College of Engineering, Prof A Vallavaaj, Assistant Dean, Mr Ali Abdullah Al Mahruqi, Head of ECE Department, Prof. C.V.Sudhir , Head of MIE Department ,  Dr. Hafez Al Sadeq Head of CEE Department of College of Engineering, National University congratulated each and every participant for their innovative project work and appreciated their sincere efforts. Dean has advised the participants that it is required to take their projects to the next level for commercialization with passion. At the end of this competition, Dean distributed the Best project award to the winning Students and certificates distributed by the Head of the respective department.
