Muscat: Mudhaibi Photography Team in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate has achieved local and international achievements in the field of astrophotography.
"Mudhaibi Photography Team, affiliated to Mudhaibi Sports Club in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate," Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.
Majed bin Mohammed Al Farei, Head of Mudhaibi Photography Team, said: "The team was established in February of 2019 under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth represented by Mudhaibi Sports Club. "
"The number of team members currently reaches 40 photographers, who are proficient in shooting in many artistic axes, most notably the axis of astrophotography, where this axis comes to distinguish the team at the level of the Sultanate of Oman in addition to the nature, the people's lives, and weddings, events and portraiture, " Al Farei added.
He talked about the team’s external participation and the achievements of its members, said: "The participation of the photographer, Intisar Al Habsi, in the international competition “Stay Home” – WPG, which was organised by the World Photographic Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which she won the silver medal, in addition to the same photographer receiving an honourary medal in Lisboan Competition 2020 - Portugal for one of her works called Return to God. In addition to her participation in the International Exhibition Pena Fotografica Rosarian 2020, and she won the honorary PFR Ribbon medal for her work under the name of GRAND."
