Muscat: A gas leak at a workshop in Karsha Industrial Estate of Nizwa was controlled by the 'Hazardous materials' units from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) on Tuesday evening.
“It has been verified that the leaked gas was chlorine. The leak was controlled and no loss of life has been reported in the incident,” PACDA said in an online statement.
