Over 6,000 prohibited goods seized from this governorate in one quarter

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), has seized over 6,000 prohibited goods in North Al Batinah Governorate during the first three months of 2022.

A statement issued online by the CPA said: "The Department of Consumer Protection in the Governorate of North Al Batinah managed to seize 6,202 prohibited goods, record 616 violations, and dealt with 214 reports during the first quarter of this year, as a result of the intensive monitoring efforts in the governorate’s markets. "
