Muscat: Bodies of six workers were pulled out from a rubble following rock collapse in the wilayat of Ibri in Al Dhahirah governorate. Search is on for missing persons working on the site while five workers have been rescued, according to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).
A statement issued online by the CDAA, said: “Search and rescue teams of Al Dhahirah Governorate are dealing with a report of a rock collapse in Al Arid area in the Wilayat of Ibri, where five people have been rescued and six others have died. Search is on for missing persons under the rubble.”
