Art Exhibition held at A’soud Global School, Duqm

Under the theme of ‘My World, My Environment’, A’soud Global School, Duqm hosted an Art Exhibition on Monday, 14th March.
 
The exhibition celebrated the talents of AGS children who prepared imaginative and colourful 3D structures, paintings and clothing aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues
 
Honoured by the presence of Mr. Fernando Ponton Vazquez, Maritime Works Manager for Cobra Group who works closely with Duqm Dock. During his speech, Mr. Fernando emphasised the value of these activities to ensure the development of Duqm is “not at the expense of the natural beauty and wildlife of the area and remains un-spoilt for future generations to enjoy.”
 
The School Principal, Mr. Peter Gutteridge, said “Art is an excellent vehicle for children to express how they feel about their world. The recognition our children have received from this event will boost to their confidence and inspire them to keep this theme alive.”
