Qatari Naval Forces Commander visits Military Technological College

Muscat: Rear Admiral Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti, Commander of the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces visited the Military Technological College (MTC) on Monday.

The guest was accompanied during the visit by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO).

Upon the guest’s arrival, he was greeted by Air Commodore Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Seyabi, Commandant of the MTC.

The Qatari guest and members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the college’s educational and service facilities, in addition to its general curriculum, technical specialisations and various educational levels.

Sultan’s Armed Forces
The Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Ra’eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) also received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison Rear Admiral Al Sulaiti. The two sides exchanged views on several military matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Commodore Issa Salim Al Owaisi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Administration and Supply.

Meanwhile, Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) received in his office Rear Admiral Al Sulaiti.
The two sides reviewed fields of the existing maritime cooperation between the RNO and the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces. They also exchanged views on several matters of common interests.

Maritime Security Centre
Rear Admiral Al Sulaiti and his accompanying delegation also visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) on Monday.
During the visit, the guest was accompanied by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO). Upon the guest arrival at the MSC, he was greeted by the acting Head of the MSC.
The guest toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies. He was briefed on the duties, tasks and roles carried out by the centre within its national duties, as it coordinates with authorities concerned in search and rescue missions and in the safety of the maritime environment.
