Oman crime: Buraimi man arrested on drugs charges

Muscat: One person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police on charges of possessing drugs.
Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Directorate at Buraimi Police arrested a citizen on charges of possession of narcotic substances, the police said. More than 40 tablets of psychotropic substances were recovered from the accused. He was referred to the public prosecution for further legal action .
ROP has called on citzens and residents and inform about any activities of drugs dealers by contacting the hotline number 1444 or emergency phone 9999.
