Three arrested for theft in Oman

Muscat: Three people have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) for stealing from eight shops in Dhofar Governorate.

"Dhofar Governorate Police Command arrested three people on charges of theft from eight shops. By searching and investigating, the accused were arrested and confessed to committing the theft crimes," ROP said in a statement.

ROP added that electronic devices, iron safes and the sums of money they stole were also found. The case is under process.
