Three arrested in Oman for theft from shops

Muscat: Three people were arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for stealing from 12 shops in several wilayats in the North Al Batinah Governorate.

"The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested three people on charges of theft from 12 shops in several wilayats in the North Al Batinah Governorate. Tools and other stolen items were also found in one of the apartments they rented," the ROP said in a statement.

The Royal Oman Police advises shop owners and commercial establishments to install monitoring and alarm devices and take precautionary and preventive measures to preserve their property.
