Oman weather update: here's the latest from the authority

Muscat: Most of the Sultanate will continue to experience cloudy skies today, Sunday, April 14, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) announced.

According to PACA, today's weather forecast will be "Cloudy skies over most of the Sultnate with chances of rain and occasional thundershowers associated with fresh wind and hail over most of the northern governorates and parts of Al Wusta and Dhofar. There are chances of dust and rising winds over desert and open areas."

Temperatures throughout the county will vary from highs of 24 Degrees Celsius in Muscat, Khasab and Suhar and lows of 11, 15,13 and three degrees Celsius in Nizwa, Muscat, Buraimi, and Saiq.
