Dust storm hits various governorates in Oman

Muscat: Dust storm hits a number of governorates in the Sultanate of Oman, preceded by low stratigraphic clouds, which may lead to showers of rain and a noticeable drop in temperatures.

The Directorate General of Meteorology said: “There is dust coming from the south of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the coasts of the Sea of Oman and Musandam Governorate. The dust advances low stratigraphic clouds that may lead to showers and a noticeable decrease in temperatures and low clouds spread over parts of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates."
