Reduced visibility on some roads, ROP advises caution

Muscat: Motorists have been asked by the Royal Oman Police to drive with caution due to reduced visibility on some roads, caused by dust storms and rough seas.

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology said: “Attention, due to the escalation of dust storms as a result of winds that the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing during this period, the Ministry  is alerting users of Adam-Thumrait Road, and Sinaw-Mahut-Duqm Road and a number of roads in various governorates take care and pay attention."

The Royal Oman Police said: "Due to the rising seas and their cutting of the public street (Khasab-Bukhaa-Al-Dara) in the Musandam Governorate, road users are kindly requested to take caution."
