Passenger numbers at Oman's airports drop by 18%

Muscat: More than three million passengers have travelled through Oman’s airports till the end of October 2021, a decrease of 18 per cent compared to the same period in 2020.

"The total number of passengers travelling through the airports of the Sultanate of Oman at the end of October 2021 reached 3,349,503, a decrease of 18.4 per cent compared to the same period in 2020," Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.

Data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), indicated that the number of flights through the airports of the Sultanate of Oman reached 30,375, including 21,466 international flights and 8,909 domestic flights.
