Oman airports see 26% drop in travellers

Muscat: Over two million passengers have travelled through Oman's airports till the end of September 2021, a decrease of more than 26 per cent compared to the same period in 2020.

Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement that the number of passengers through the airports of the Sultanate of Oman (Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport, Sohar Airport and Duqm Airport) till the end of September 2021 reached 2,870,810, a decrease of 26.5 per cent compared to the same period in 2020, which was 3,908,289 passengers, according to preliminary data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
