Municipality destroys over 50 kgs of inedible food in Oman

Muscat: Al Dakhiliyah Municipality has destroyed more than 50 kilograms (kgs) of spoiled food during its inspection campaign for a number of food establishments in the Wilayat of Samail.

A statement issued online by Al Dakhiliyah Municipality said : " A joint inspection programme is being implemented between the Al Dakhiliyah Municipality and the municipality departments in the governorate for 78 professional and food establishments in the Wilayat of Samail, which resulted in the issuance of 18 violations, five warnings, and the destruction of 59 kgs of spoiled food."
