Municipality in Oman destroys 77,000kg of inedible food

Muscat: Over 77,000kg of food was destroyed in 98 stores in the wilayats of Khaboura and Suwaiq.

The Municipality of North Al Batinah said: “The food control and inspection campaign in North Al Batinah resulted in the destruction of 77,809 kg of fish, meat, fruits and vegetables as they were unfit for human consumption in the wilayats of Al Khaboura and Al Suwaiq."
