Fire breaks out at Oman furniture store

Muscat: A fire broke out in a furniture store and house in Al Batinah Governorate, the Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has announced.

According to PACDA, no injuries were recorded in the two accidents.

PACDA said in a statement online: "The Authority's firefighter team managed to control the fire that broke out in a storeroom for furniture in Wilayat Barka.

"In another case, the fire broke out in a house in the area of Nu'man in Wilayat Barka and firefighter teams of Southern Al Batinah managed to control the fire."
