Fourth Food Security Lab concludes with over OMR 45 Million in investment projects

Muscat: The Fourth Food Security Lab has successfully concluded its activities, resulting in 41 investment projects across various sectors, valued at more than OMR 45 million. Additionally, 66 investment opportunities were made available through electronic platforms.

The lab also introduced 24 enabling initiatives to support projects in the food security sector, enhance logistics services, and launch the "Tharawat" and "Zad" platforms. During the closing ceremony, 14 investment contracts worth more than OMR 36.8 million were signed in the fisheries sector.

Furthermore, 177 usufruct contracts, covering over 13,700 acres across Oman’s governorates, were signed for agricultural investment projects, with a total value exceeding OMR 32.3 million, as part of the lab’s outcomes.
