Muscat: The Online Arab Youth Forum, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, was launched on Tuesday.
As many as 200 young people representing 22 Arab countries take part in the 2-day forum.
The first day of the forum included two working papers. The first one was on the concept of creative and cultural industries and their social and economic impact. The second working paper was on the opportunities and challenges facing the creative and cultural industries in the Arab world.
The first day also included two training workshops.
The first one was presented by Adel Al Hubaishi, CEO of Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC), on transferring talent into a startup company. The second workshop was on creative skills and marketing creative products, presented by Saba Al Busaidi.
